Brooklyn Heights

Brooklyn Heights is known for the brownstone neighborhoods. As I walked through it reminded me of nostalgic films I used to watch growing up. If you visit around sunset the neighborhood glows. The promenade was found for me at the end of the street of the second photograph. At the dead end road you will be at the start of the promenade. You will see views of the skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Dumbo

Empire State Building framed by Manhattan Bridge.

39-21 Washington St, Brooklyn, NY 11201 DUMBO Manhattan Bridge View

Popular location for a reason. Dumbo has lots of views and this is one of them. If you find yourself in Dumbo I recommend checking out the local park nearby.

Coney Island

I did not get too many shots but you can spend all day here. You can walk along the boardwalk with views of the ocean and park. Look out for the subway in the foreground. I think it would add to the New York ambiance. Movies like uptown girls were filmed here. Directors photographers find inspiration from coney island.

Roosevelt tramway

59th Street and 2nd Avenue.

I didn’t capture the typical view but you can get Ariel views of the city for $2.90. These pictures didn’t show the height but you will fly right past the Queensborough bridge.

Flash was used to capture the Grit and Grunge of the underground.

Brooklyn Bridge

Tillary Street & Brooklyn Bridge Blvd

I decided to walk from Brooklyn heights to the Brooklyn Bridge. It took around fifteen minutes to reach the bridge from the dumbo stairwell. You can shoot Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn heights and dumbo in the same afternoon.

Street

Simply walking the street you will find stories along the way. These two photographs were taken in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Crowds gathered around a car crash. You can see the different behaviors of chatting and lost in thought.
